Why Flying Biscuit

Built on 30 Years of Southern Heart

A proven brand. A passionate following. A franchise model designed around your quality of life — not just your bottom line.

Our Story

From a Single Atlanta Café to a Beloved Southern Brand

It started in 1993 in Atlanta's Candler Park neighborhood — a tiny café where the biscuits flew out the door so fast, the name stuck. What began as a neighborhood gathering place became a cultural phenomenon, with guests lining up for the signature biscuits, cranberry apple butter, and the kind of warmth you can't fake.

Three decades later, The Flying Biscuit Café has grown to over 30 locations across the Southeast — and we're just getting started. Backed by the creators of Moe's Southwest Grill, our franchise system combines the soul of a local café with the infrastructure of a national brand.

This isn't a typical restaurant franchise. Our breakfast-and-brunch focus means you're home by 3pm, your food costs stay low, and your guests keep coming back — not because they have to, but because they love it.
